– Thanks for joining us,Oskar! Tell us a bit about your background.
I have a degree in business & economics from the university of Linkoping, and I graduated in 2021. The same year I joined NAVBLUE, so NAVBLUE was my first job after graduation!
– Can you tell me, in brief, what a Finance Business Partner is and what that role entails within NAVBLUE?
As a Financial Business Partner your main responsibility is to track the financial results, analyze them, and then present that analysis to the teams involved in decision-making processes.
In the financial performance team we are five, and we all have our own area of responsibility.
I am currently the financial business partner for all of the support functions within NAVBLUE, which means that I follow up each quarter the costs for these functions. During this period is also when we perform the analysis of the actuals and give the new forecasts for the year.
– You’ve been part of NAVBLUE since 2021… How would you describe your evolution inside the company?
It has been great! First when I joined NAVBLUE I was responsible for the accounts -payable and receivable- for NAVBLUE Sweden. After four or five months, I’ve got the opportunity to move into the role as a financial business partner, which in terms of professional development has been great for me.
– What advice would you give to young employees who might be considering a career within NAVBLUE ?
Firstly, I can highly recommend applying for a position at NAVBLUE. What I really like- and can see within the company-is that they are giving younger professionals a chance. If you get the opportunity to work here… Be curious and ask a lot of questions!
