The individual will be a key facilitator in a self-sufficient multi-disciplinary team environment, guiding them in end-to-end product development with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Scrum Master, you will work alongside 1-2 Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery of features within budget and quality to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Guide and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), ensuring the team sticks to the software development process and achieves sprint goals
  • Coach and mentor Scrum Team, fostering a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and self-organization within the team
  • Protect Scrum Team from distractions, remove impediments and barriers to successful implementation. 
  • Facilitate conflict resolution, and help maintain team focus on the product backlog and project timeline
  • Ensure sprint deliverables consistently meet quality and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate transversally with other members of the Agile community
  • Facilitate effective communication between Teams and key stakeholders
  • Regularly monitor, identify, and report progress using appropriate metrics to support project goals
  • Support issue/risk tracking and scope management discussions
  • Support communication between management and Scrum Teams

 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Excellent English communications skills (Verbal and written)
  • Scrum Master advanced certifications (PSM, SASM, SSM, etc)
  • Working experience on Agile project management tools (Jira, VersionOne, Rally, etc)
  • Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to team and to management
  • Basic knowledge at some software development environments and technologies, e.g.: 
    • Software development (Python, JavaScript, ASP, C#, HTML5)
    • Data storage technologies (SQL, . Net, NoSQL (Neo4J, Neptune), S3, AWS (Redshift) )
    • Web development technologies and frameworks (e.g. Angular, AngularJS, ReactJ)
    • DevOps methodologies and practices
    • Software testing principles and practices (e.g., unit, integration, E2E testing, QA methodologies)
  • 3+ years as scrum master

 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge and experience in working with the SAFe framework.
  • Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, and release management
  • Graduate with 6+ years of total IT experience. Background in development, QA, or BA is highly desirable
