NAVBLUE is looking for a SAFe Product Owner (PO).
The Product Owner (PO) is an integral part of the NAVBLUE Growth & Investment team.
As per SAFe framework deployed in NAVBLUE:
The Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring Stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done. For most enterprises moving to Agile, this is a new and critical role, typically translating into a full-time job, requiring one PO to support each Agile team (or, at most, two teams). This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.

More specifically in NAVBLUE, the Product Owner is a key asset turning the business / operational needs collected with the Product Management into User Stories, and then working closely with the development team to get these User Stories properly implemented as per Definition of Done objectives.
The candidate will be asked to lead by example on the deployment of Lean-Agile principles, breaking the silos, and ensuring any development fits with the overall Portfolio framework vision.
The candidate will also be active in ensuring that NAVBLUE processes are successful in bridging the gap between “by the book” recommendations and daily practices which can be more driven by business objectives.
As NAVBLUE is looking for efficiency, flexibility and focus on value, the candidate will be working closely with the development team and significantly contribute to its performance. In order to allow flexibility and focus on value, the candidate will have to be able to move from one domain to another, being active in setting the conditions to make this happen effectively.
This position is open to fulfill the need for Product Owner on multiple teams.
The candidate will work on AWS native shared components, micro-services and Product features.
