Job Summary:

NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, is currently seeking a Navigation+ Data Delivery Operator to join our growing team. 

A Nav+ Data Delivery Operator is responsible for supporting the Aerodata Hub Delivery team in managing and delivering the Certified Nav+ product line to various NAVBLUE Customers such as Airline, Air Navigation Service Providers, Simulator Operators etc. The delivery of databases are planned and managed every 28 days recurrently(every AIRAC Cycle).

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage recurring Navigation database(Nav+) products delivery for all Customers  using inhouse NAVBLUE Delivery Tools during each AIRAC Cycle.
  • Adhere to the set Delivery schedule to provide seamless services to all NAVBLUE Nav+ Customers without fail every AIRAC Cycle.
  • Coordinate with Data Production teams during AIRAC Cycle closedown and take over assigned delivery activity functions.
  • Perform pre-delivery activities on individual delivery tools and coordinate with different FMS OEMs (GE, Honeywell, CMC, Universal & THALES) in order to pack the respective FMS  navigation databases for delivery.
  • Follow established Delivery procedures, Instructions and improve procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with core teams - Data Production teams and customer experience to review Customer requests to add Tailored database content such as for Airport, Runway and Procedures(SID, STAR & Approaches).
  • Coordinate and manage off-Cycle Ad-hoc/Interim database delivery request
  • Coordinate with Customer Experience team, Production team to provide high level technical response to Customer queries and support requests on various Navigation data topics.
  • Attentive to every report/ support ticket from Customers regarding data quality, coordinate and assign tickets to respective teams for quick resolution of tickets.
  • Nurture a continuous improvement and learning mentality.

Additional / Cross functional roles

  • Should be willing to collaborate and take part in the Airport+ Product line delivery. The products are Airport+ Runway Database(RDB) & Airport+ Airport Mapping Database(AMDB)

 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Requires an ability to work with multiple delivery tools and manage the output for various Customer requirements as per their subscription.
  • Good Communication skills, both written and verbally, within the team, internal and external as well.
  • Be accountable, take ownership and ensure completion of the tasks on time.
  • High attention to details, team coordination and zero tolerance for error.
  • Willingness to work extra hours during a crisis or disruption.
  • Good understanding of the importance of safety and quality is most important.
  • Nurture a continuous improvement and learning mentality.

 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior knowledge in Aviation, Flight Operations is an added advantage

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an aviation related area.
