Summary

NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, is currently seeking an Aeronautical Analyst Navigation Aerodromes to join our team.  

A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst is responsible for updating and maintaining the aeronautical information that is used in our products. As a member of one of our data production teams, you will be able to use customized tools and processes to meet our high quality standards and specification requirements.

 

Responsibilities : 

  • Analyse relevant aeronautical State Publications that require changes to be made to the aeronautical data within the worldwide Navigation database
  • Update Navigation data in line with DQRs
  • Answer customer queries relating to data supplied to them
  • Communicate effectively within the team in order to meet the team objectives
  • Collaborate with the other teams in Navigation department to ensure scheduled workload is aligned across the department
  • Clarify any source data problems from various countries’ Aeronautical Information Departments
  • Liaise with the relevant departments for any queries including any State source data problems using the appropriate communication method

 

Required Skills / Experience : 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail whilst performing safety critical and repetitive tasks 
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills - Quality minded focus 
  • Capability to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure
  • Professional behaviour and good work ethic 
  • Ability to learn, implement and manage new concepts, tools and processes.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholder

 

Preferred Skills / Experience :

  • Cartography, Geography or air navigation industry experience
  • Interest in the aviation industry
  • Agile and SAFe methodologies working knowledge

 

Qualifications :

  • Educated to A level or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geography, GIS, or Aeronautics is an asset. 
  • IT Literate
