Job Summary:

As Delivery and Deployment Manager within NAVBLUE, an Airbus company, you will be responsible for all the deliverables relating to recurring deliveries and deployment of implementation projects. You will lead a team dedicated to these responsibilities and have responsibility for the entire product delivery cycle and end to end project life cycle. Including cost control, customer engagement, risk analysis and management of 3rd party contractors. The incumbent will also be responsible for the Product lifecycle of external and internal tools relating to deployment and delivery for the Charts+/Mission+ Maps product line.



 Management Responsibilities: 

  • Hire and retain talent to meet business requirements
  • Manage the team in terms of productivity, motivation, effectiveness, and team work, and ensure Create and foster an organization of positive and collaborative team members willing to take ownership of deployment, implementation, delivery and processes they oversee
  • Leads and participates in the creation and implementation of standards and practices
  • Manage effectively and efficiently all team administration ensuring all company and external policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Develop and implement a training regime for all new starters
  • Ensure good housekeeping & Health & Safety is maintained at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring all staff comply and understand all Health & Safety and Quality standards.


 Functional Responsibilities:

  • Develop with project managers robust and scalable processes and project plans to support implementation projects for charts+
  • Define organization and procedures alongside key stakeholders for overall project management and recurring delivery processes for Mission+ Maps
  • Have responsibility for all deliverables for delivery and deployment
  • Report global status for the product line on all deployment and delivery aspects
  • Manage project costs in line with scope of project, identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensure where possible alignment with company wide PMO processes and activities
  • Responsible for product backlog and roadmap for delivery tools relating to charts+, Mission+ maps
  • Implement strategic vision from product manager for internal and external delivery and deployment tools
  • Support in presales activities regarding implementation and recurring delivery processes
  • Responsible for managing 3rd party suppliers for delivery activities
  • Secure P&L by ensuring projects and standard customer deliveries are complete on target



Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of three-years’ experience in a logistics or Project management role
  • History of managing multiple projects of varying scope and budgets
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • FlightOps/Aviation experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative ensuring pre-determined deadlines are achieved
  • Ability to work under
  • Must work effectively with others in a team
  • International travel will be required on a regular basis




  • Educated to a University Bachelor’s degree standard or
  • Flight Ops knowledge an advantage
  • Project management credential from accredited institutes or equivalent work experience
